A short historyWe first opened the doors 10 years ago, under the name of Studio15. After 5 years of hard work and good fun, we felt that the name didn't really reflect our vision - or the range of stuff we did. Hence, in early 2010, King Street Creative was born.
Shortly after, we undertook some significant renovations. Now we have a space that functions really well, feels cool, and sounds Great! We believe we have the right combination of experience, passion and understanding to make any project we are involved in meet the highest of standards. |

Al Steedman
Al has 15+ years of recording and mixing. He has established himself not only as one of the best recording engineers in the Taranaki region, but also a great live sound engineer. |
Dave Carnahan
Dave began working in the music industry as a live sound engineer in the 90's. After a few years on the live circuit he started to get work as a recording engineer in Colorado. In 1995 he started his own studio in Boulder, which he ran until moving to Sydney in 2000. He freelanced there for a year before moving to the UK, and eventually, settling in New Zealand in 2003. |
