We built our studio in order to make it the most functional, and comfortable, space in which to record. There is a large tracking room in which a full band can comfortably play together. On either side of this room there is an isolation booth and fully wired lounge that can fit a large horn section. All rooms have line of sight view and allow for maximum isolation without loss of eye contact. It also has a comprehensive headphone monitor system that gives each musician control over his own personal mix, and the provision for up to 10 independent headphone mixes - enough for even the biggest bands. At the center of our spacious control room is a well restored Soundcraft analogue mixing desk. With the capability to record up to 32 tracks live we can capture all the feeling of a live band performance. We use 24bit 96kHz MOTU converters, and Tannoy monitoring, enabling us to record and mix at a very high sound resolution. We also have an ever expanding collection of great mics and outboard gear, like Grace Design mic pres, an ADR compex compressor, and lots of nice instruments, amps and pedals.
